Chef Johnathan Sundstrom and his partners have created a wonderful neighbor for Lark. The room is warm and inviting, with a grand bar taking center stage – the perfect spot for quick cocktail or a full meal. The house cocktail list features infused liquors with seasonal ingredients. The Shiso Fine uses organic Rain vodka infused with fresh local shiso leafs and lime, and is crisp and clean tasting. There is also the favorite Lark cocktail, a sparking drink made of Campari, grapefruit juice and prosecco.
Like its sister restaurant, Johnathan and Chef de Cuisine Wiley Frank craft menus that showcase beautiful ingredients. Their sources are as local as Seattle, and as far-flung as Europe and North Africa. The smoked white bean tartine is a lovely bite, with a house-smoked bean puree, truffle butter and peppery arugula. The tuna crudo offers clean, fresh flavors – tart bits of lemon, the crunch of sea salt. If you come with a bigger appetite, the pork sandwich with duck fat roasted potatoes is sure to satisfy. End the night with a plate of our delectable financiers - warm little hazelnut cakes, and a selection from extensive list of after dinner digestifs.
